Margaret Hill Raleigh, age 92, of Emory, Va., passed away Saturday March 17, 2018, at the Abingdon Health and Rehab in Abingdon, Va.
She was born on February 5, 1926 in Washington County, Va. to the late Emory Victor Hill and Margaret Gollehon Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hagy Raleigh; brothers, Tatum, Earl, Howard, Yost, Estes, Emory, and Kelly Hill and her sisters, Elizabeth Scott and Ruth Coltrane
Margaret was a graduate of Meadowview High School and Mary Dalton Secretarial School. She spent most of her career in banking. She lived in Marion, Va., and Virginia Beach, Va., before retiring to Emory, Va. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and Mahjong. She was also a member of Emory United Methodist Church.
Margaret is survived by a sister in law, Aloa Hill; 3 nephews; 16 nieces; and a large extended family.
The family would like to thank Abingdon Health and Rehab for their kindness and care. The family would also like to say a special thank you to Beverly Evans, caregiver, for her kind, loving, and devoted care she gave to Margaret.
The family will receive friends on the afternoon of Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Hill home in Emory, Va.

Per Margaret’s request, memorial services will be private.
