Dianne Lovella Worley, 65, of Meadowview, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1952, in Clinchco, Va., to the late James Roy Reece and Savannah Pearl Harrison. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Mullins and her mother-in-law, Shirley Worley.
Dianne was retired from Maymead in Mountain City, Tenn. after 16 years of service and had recently returned to work again. She loved traveling and spending time at the lake. Her family will remember the love she had for flowers, canning and the ability she had to always put a wonderful meal on the table. Dianne had an adoring love for her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church and loved her church family.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Worley; four children, Chris Lowery and wife Sandy of Mountain City, Tenn., James Lowery of Abingdon, Jason Worley of Sevierville, Tenn., and Jessica Smythe and husband Russell of Damascus; one sister, Sandy Thomas and husband Jerry of Haysi, Va.; seven grandchildren, Katelyn, Brennan, Casey, Trevor, Alexis, Haleigh and Brooklyn; one great grandson, Tatum; three brothers-in-law, Jeff Worley and wife Vickie, who was like her sister-in-heart of Glade Spring, Danny Worley and wife Shelia of Glade Spring and Russell Worley and wife Tammy of Meadowview; father-in-law, James C. Worley of Glade Spring; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel with Elders of the Primitive Baptist Church officiating. Committal service will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery, Glade Spring, Va.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Ferguson, Brennan Lowery, Russell Smythe, Richie Worley, Terry Dutton, Brandon Tenney, Franklin Shumate and Curtis Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Thomas and Mitchell Thomas.
