Anthony Paul Stiltner, age 50, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Denise Stiltner of Abingdon, VA; parents, Samuel Stiltner of Roanoke, VA and Gannel Owens Bailey of Abingdon, VA.; three sons, Logan Anthony Stiltner, Abingdon, VA; Zayne David Greer, Kingsport, TN and Justin Ryan Stepp, Bristol, TN; one brother, James Arthur Bailey of Las Vegas, NV.
Anthony was born in Roanoke, VA, and moved to Big Rock, VA and graduated from Grundy Senior High School in 1986. Anthony joined the Marines and served in Operation Desert Storm and proudly served his country for six years. Anthony attended Southwest Virginia Community College and became a registered nurse in 2001. Anthony was currently working at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. Anthony was proud of being a United States Marine and a caring compassionate nurse, but most of all being a devoted, loving husband and father to his wife Karen and son Logan. Anthony loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle and he and his wife Karen were active with Covenant Bikers for Christ for several years.
Anthony had a strong, loving spirit and developed many lasting friendships at work, in ministry and with fellow bikers. Anthony made such an impact in so many peoples lives and was loved by all who knew him.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 21st, 2019 at the Harvest Worship Center with Brother Wayne Lambert and Brother Brad Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the Harvest Worship Center from 6 p.m. on Friday until the time of the service.
