Dennis Ralph Fredrickson

Dennis Ralph Fredrickson, 79, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was born August 27, 1945, in San Francisco, California to the late Ralph and Ada Long Fredrickson.   Dennis was a proud Vietnam Veteran.   He received his bachelor’s from the University of California at Berkeley and his master’s from the University of Calgary.   Dennis had many interests and was always learning.   Dennis retired as owner and CEO of Fredrickson and Associates where he worked all over the world and the U.S. as an Oracle and manufacturing consultant.    For the last 14 years, he called Abingdon Home. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Harris.

Dennis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Karon Hodges Fredrickson; three children, Nelly (Nathaniel) Warner, Daniel (Michelle) Fredrickson, and Jenny Carlisle.  Dennis was grandfather to 16 grandchildren, whom he adored.  

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:30 P.M. in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Camper officiating.
