Eula Ann Widener

Eula was born to the late James and Elizabeth Boone, and was known for her kind heart and love for people—she truly never met a stranger. Her warm personality and joyful spirit made her a light in the lives of those who knew her.

Eula found joy in being outdoors, especially mowing her yard. She had a special love for animals, particularly her fur baby Hazel. But above all, Eula cherished time spent with her family and her precious grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian woman whose faith guided her throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jerry Widener; her daughter, Beverly Thomas (Danny); her son, Tim Widener (Veronica); and four cherished grandchildren Kelsey Hardwick (Kyle), Noah Thomas, Brian Roop (Anne), and Johnny Roop. Eula also leaves behind her five sisters: Peggy Gilley (Jack),  Brenda Morrison (Dean), Judy Grimsley (Keith), Jean Moretz, and Diane Grimsley; and two brothers: Jimmy Boone (Mary) and Bobby Boone (Brenda).

Other survivors include brother-in-law P.G. Widener (Dawn); sister-in-law Aimee Widener; along with several nieces and nephews.
