Gwendolyn Dawn Ross, age 49, gained her wings on April 13, 2025. Born on May 26, 1975, Wendy’s life was a testament to her devotion, a radiant thread woven with faith, love, compassion, and strength.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Terry Ross; their children, Megan Rutledge (Jesse), Haley DeBord (Dalton), Karisa Garner (Dustin), Jed Ross, and Hunter Ross; their beloved grandsons, Easton, Layton, Sutton, and Stetson; brother, Luke Hodgson; and her cherished in-laws, Betty and Danny Ross. The circle of those who held her dear also includes special bonus family, Dez Hamm, Sue Slagle, and Trina Hodgson.

Wendy was preceded in death by her mother, Glenna Mae Burns; granddaughter, Zadie Renee; and her ‘little big brother’, Everett Hodgson.

Throughout her life, Wendy radiated a quiet strength that lifted those around her, rooted in unwavering spiritual conviction which illuminated every chapter of her journey. Her faith was not only a personal compass but a beacon for all who knew and loved her—offering solace during hardship and joy in moments of celebration. She moved through the world with grace and compassion, always ready to extend comfort where there was pain and hope where there was doubt.

In every role she embraced—wife, mother, grandmother, family or friend—Wendy gave wholeheartedly of herself. Her presence was steady and nurturing; her love unconditional. She cultivated a home filled with warmth and understanding—a sanctuary where laughter echoed freely and hearts found rest.

Her legacy endures in the lives she touched so deeply, in the wisdom passed to her children, the tenderness she shared with each grandchild, and the bonds she formed that became chosen family. The values she lived by continue to ripple outward through those who carry her memory forward.
