Jack M. Worley, 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center due to complications from an auto accident.
Jack was born on August 19, 1946 to the late Roscoe and Anna Lee Marsh Worley. He was a Trooper with the Virginia State Police for 28 years.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his stepmother, Gladys Purcell Worley; one stepsister.
He is survived by his twin sister, Jewel W. (Don) Carbary; brothers, Ray Worley and Kenneth (Doris) Worley; nieces, Jennifer (Bill) Loehle and Karla Worley; nephews, Stacy Worley, Dwight (Karen) Worley, and Eric (Maggie) Worley; three stepsisters; two stepchildren; four step grandchildren; special friends, Arrington family (Pride, Tracey, Little Pride, Kylie, and Danielle.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the ICU staff of Johnson City Medical Center and Senior Trooper, P.J. Battle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 1:00 P.M until 3:00 P.M. at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M with Pastor Frankie Branson and Virginia State Police Chaplain Aaron Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery with honors rendered by the Virginia State Police Honor Guard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Aldo Ratliff, Allen Blevins, Butch Testerman, Clarke Hutton, Doc Gilliam, Henry White, James McGlocklin, Brian Stokes, Joe Orr, Kevin Taylor, Dave Harris, and Stuart Copenhaver.
