Johnny and I grew up together and got into so much trouble. He was my first cousin and I will miss him.
We are sorry to hear of the death of John. We never met John but knew his parents really well years ago. In fact, several years ago, we hosted a Christmas Party every year the first Saturday Night in December. His Father always came to our Christmas Party but his Mother had already passed before we started hosting the Christmas Party. We enjoyed viting with both his Father and Mother at their home years ago. Age finally caught up with us and we no longer ever host any kind of event. We will keep your Family in our Prayers.

I loved Johnny McGlamery . Not only for being my best friend as we grew,, but also what he meant to my family. I was always amazed at the care and compassion he showed my Mom & Dad as they became older. My mother loved him as one of her own. Each one of my six siblings developed very special connections with Johnny ( he always told me that my big brother Bob was the coolest guy he ever knew!) And the countless hours he spent with my Uncle Emory in the 70’s at the VA Hospital in Johnson City, TN. Johnny McGlamery will be sadly missed by many people- certainly incvluding me and my family.
