Linda "Michelle" Pridemore Rock

Linda “Michelle” Pridemore Rock, 50, passed away on October 10, 2024.

A devoted homemaker, Michelle loved nothing more than taking care of her family. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, and planning social events. Michelle was especially excited for the birth of her newest niece, Winnie.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter and Leona Brock; maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Niday; her father, Michael Pridemore; her uncle, Randy Pridemore; and her father-in-law, Samuel Rock.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Jacob Rock; her mother, Linda Pridemore; her son, Kenny Rock; her daughter, Addison Rock; fur-baby Pippa; two brothers, Michael "Shea" (Shannon) Pridemore and Robert "Bob"(Ashley) Pridemore. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Debbie Rock; her nieces, Amber Pridemore and Lilah Rock; her nephews, Hunter Pridemore and Sam Rock; special uncle, Greg Niday; and her brother-in-law, Jared Rock.

Michelle will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

A visitation for Michelle will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Gibson officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
