Mandy Ellen Fleenor Hearl, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 08, 2025 at Abingdon Health and Rehab.
Mandy was born on March 19, 1941 to the late Charlie and Mary Cox Fleenor in Washington, County, VA. She was a graduate of Greendale High School after graduating a year early. She was an employee of Washington County School System at Greendale Elementary for over 32 years before retiring. She was a true believer in hard work starting at a young age on the farm and through her adult years. Mandy was a bluegrass and gospel enthusiast, and loved playing and spending time with her great granddaughter, Callie. Above all she was an extremely proud mother of her son Billy. She was a member of Greendale Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she stayed active.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, B.T. Hearl; one sister, Maxie Leanord; five brothers, Cleason Fleenor, J.W. Fleenor, Charles (Pete) Fleenor Sr., Robert H. Fleenor and Jackie W. Fleenor; special friend, Ella Nora Carmony.
Survivors include, her son, Billy Hearl and wife Tammy; two brothers, Kyle and wife Debbie Fleenor and Curtis and wife Chris Fleenor; step-grandchildren, Morgan Witt and Blake Witt and wife Savanna and Erica Lawson; step great-granddaughter, Callie Johnson; also, several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Frost Funeral Home from 4:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Eggers and Speaker Scottie Dye officiating. Committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.
