Nathan Kenneth Self

Nathan Kenneth Self, 31, passed away October 24, 2023 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 15, 1992 in Abingdon, Va. Nathan loved to be outside especially ginseng hunting and playing football. He also enjoyed working out during his spare time.

Preceded in death include his paternal grandfather, Kenny Self; step-brother, Michael Self; step-father, Joe Bolen.

Survivors include his wife, Katrina Self; daughter, Alyssa Self; parents, James Self and Christine Self Bolen; one sister, Becca Bolen; two brothers; Logan Childress and Tanner Bolen; maternal grandparents, Charles and wife Gloria Blevins; paternal grandmother, Ruby Self; two uncles, Chuck and wife Ava Blevins, and Blair and wife Teena Blevins; one aunt; Eileen Self Riggs and husband Sam; one nephew, Easton Bolen.

Visitation for the family will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Mock Cemetery in Damascus, VA with a graveside service following at 12:00 P.M.
