Richard Allen "Rick" Gilmer, age 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2025, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1957, in Bristol Tennessee, to Billy and Betty Gilmer. Rick was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, and special friend to many. Rick lived a carefree life and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brother Randall Gilmer.
He is survived by his son Chris Gilmer; two grandchildren Lily Grace Gilmer and Charles Dylan Gilmer; his loving sister Rhonda Puckett (Charles); brother Darryl Gilmer (Teresa); niece Brittany Robinson (Junior Dunn); nephews John and Isaiah Mann; great nieces Mckenzie Robinson, Mckayla Robinson, Alyssa Robinson, and Grace Mann; great nephews Mikey and Isaiah Mann. Rick is also survived by many more friends and family members too numerous to name.
A private service will be held for the family at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.
