Sherry Elaine Gilley McClanahan

Sherry Elaine Gilley McClanahan, passed away on September 22, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.

She was born on February 04, 1969 in Pulaski, Virginia.

Sherry graduated from Holston High School in Damascus, VA before receiving her Associates in Human Services at Virginia Highlands Community College later in life. Sherry was known for her bubbly personality. Her passions were gardening, working in flowers and canning. She loved to be outdoors. She will be missed but not forgotten.

She reunited with her sister, Loletta Rogers as well as grandparents, Rufus (Sweet) and Hazel

Blevins, and Paul and Stella Gilley. She left behind her father, Johnny Gilley of Glade Spring, VA; her mother and spouse, Katie and Kuker Lee of Mountain City, TN; three daughters and their spouses, Kayla and Joe Deel of Bristol, VA; Hannah and Cameron Bare of Glade Spring, VA; Abagail and Jon Guinn of Meadowview, VA.; and five grandsons, Cash and Case Bare, Hunter, Fisher, and Ryder Guinn.

A memorial service will be held at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, VA on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 6 p.m.
