January 1, 1967 - March 4, 2025
On March 4, 2025, the Lord decided it was time for Vickie Taylor to see Heaven.
Vickie was the most loving and humble woman; she poured her heart and soul into her family.
The three grandchildren in her life were her world, and she cherished them. The smile Vickie
had would light up your world on any given day, and her laugh was contagious. She always made sure her family knew she loved them and never gave up, no matter the cost.
If there was a road to drive, a beach to sit on, or a new town to explore, she was already
in the car before you could even grab your shoes. The beach was her happy place.
We wish she could have stayed with us longer, but we know she's somewhere beautiful with an ocean view. We will miss her every day, but find comfort in knowing her love, laughter, and devotion will live on in her family that she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Linda Martin, nephew Justin Martin.
Survivors include Husband Mikel Taylor; daughter Tonya Powers and fiancé Jonathan Davis;
son and daughter-in-law Chace and Mandi Taylor; grandchildren, Melina and Clifton Taylor and Brenley Powers; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Becky Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Buck Doane; special aunt, Nellie. Vickie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Barber officiating.
